Our Story
I’m Lucy, a hobby farmer in rural North Island, New Zealand. What began in 2020 as a way to support my health while living with Hashimoto’s has grown into a passion for raising happy animals, making natural products, and embracing the rhythms of the land. At With the Weeds Homestead, I share the honest ups and downs of this journey, from fresh eggs and free-range chickens to handmade essentials like natural washing powder. Between butter-making, mishaps, weedy gardens, and animals that always want cuddles at the wrong time – this is my perfectly imperfect homestead story.
